Here are a few easy tips to be water-wise in the fall: 

• Upgrade your old showerheads and faucet aerators with high-efficiency faucets. 
• Check your toilets for leaks; replace your old one to get rebates. 
• Do full loads of laundry, and use cold water if possible – this saves water and power.
