In celebration of its 60th Anniversary, Mesa Water District (Mesa Water®) is hosting a video contest open to high schools and college students attending schools in Mesa Water’s service area. From September 1, 2020 to October 31, 2020, Mesa Water will be accepting videos that demonstrate this year’s theme —“Why Mesa Water Matters?” Students are invited to create and submit a fun, informative video for the chance to win up to $500. Mesa Water Matters Since 1960, Mesa Water has provided its community with safe, affordable and reliable tap water that is 100% sourced from local groundwater supplies. Mesa Water conducts over 30,000 water quality tests annually to make sure our water is clean and safe. Additionally, Mesa Water invests in educating local students about where our water sources and supplies come from, why being water-wise is important, and how to save water – our most precious natural resource. Step 2: Create a 60-second video that highlights the theme “Why Mesa Water Matters.” Step 3: Upload your completed application AND video files (two separate files) via this DropBox link http://ow.ly/hYaa50B5S1f by 5 p.m. on October 31, 2020. A panel of judges will choose the winning videos based on their quality and creativity. Winners will be informed via email, phone, or mail by November 16, 2020.
