Optimal Governance Structure Study - Summary

Combining Mesa Water District and the Costa Mesa Sanitary District (CMSD) could allow for a one-time total cost-savings of $15.6 million that could be passed on as an immediate $650 rebate per customer. Combining the two districts could also result in an annual $2.7 million savings, with $1.7 million in wastewater service savings that could reduce customers’ sewer fees by 28 percent.

Mesa Water CMSD Settlement Agreement

This Settlement and Release Agreement ("Agreement") is made and entered into this 18 day of July, 2018 by and between the Costa Mesa Sanitary District ("CMSD"), a California sanitary district, and Mesa Water District ("Mesa Water").
