California H2O: Flowing for the Future

Association of California Water Agencies (ACWA) and J Comm, Inc. have collaborated to create a 10-part video series to educate Californians about critical water issues.

In “Investing in Our Future” below, Mesa Water District’s expert staff is featured talking about its innovative Pipeline Integrity Program. Since the program’s 2015 initiation, Mesa Water has been recognized as an industry leader for its economical pipeline replacement. The program measures pipeline condition and remaining effectiveness to maximize useful life, resulting in a $231 million cost-savings over 30 years versus only age-based replacement.
